My father and I had a terrific experience at this dealership. we came from almost 3 hours away for a deal everyone else told us was impossible. The selling manager, Kevin made sure all the numbers were final before we started our journey and our sales person, Sterry was absolutely incredible, kind, and personable. Even the customer service rep, Shelby was as sweet as she could be. The gentleman in the finance department, Roland, took his time explaining everything to us and made sure we understood everything before signing. They sent someone all the way to Chiefland to pick up the jeep for us. We haven’t even had a the vehicle a month, and my father is absolutely thrilled with it. By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. We will recommend Gainesville CDJ to everyone we know looking for a vehicle. Definitely worth the trip. I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new 2026 Ram Power wagon. Everyone I met was very nice and extremely helpful. My sales person Jason was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, tracked down answers if he didn't have them, easy to talk to, wanted to know what was important to me about the truck so we were sure it was the right fit. I hate the car/truck buying experience (basically how long it takes at the dealership) but Jason and team made it as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this dealership and suggest you ask for Jason when buying your next vehicle.

The only reason I would not recommend the dealership is
The only reason I would not recommend the dealership is this. I had a pre approval on my trade in vehicle and I did not actually find out until signing that I was given $2000.00 less. This is also the reason we opted not to get the extended warranty. Our salesperson was wonderful, but I do feel that the negotiations were a bit underhanded. Love the vehicle and will seek and will seek a different dealership for continued services, etc.

Very knowledgeable, tracked down answers if he didn't have them, easy to talk to, wanted to know what was important to me about the truck so we were sure it was the right fit. I hate the car/truck buying experience (basically how long it takes at the dealership) but Jason and team made it as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this dealership and suggest you ask for Jason when buying your next vehicle.

I had my son take his car there for a recall issue with
I had my son take his car there for a recall issue with the seatbelt bucket. He also mentioned that the backup camera was glitching and the steering wheel control buttons for the infotainment systems and dash settings wasn’t working. When speaking to the young lady from the service department, she stated that the button issue would have a diagnostic fee with it. I said no problem. So my son left his contact info with the service department to receive updates. He was then called and they told him they would need two more hours to diagnose the problem at a rate of an extra $100 an hour. He agreed without mentioning it to me as I am the owner of the vehicle. I simply told him to then cancel the repair and pick the car up. He was then told that it would be the diagnostic fee plus two hours of work, nearly $500 without the cost of the repair. I then called and spoke to his service advisor which stated the same thing. It seemed ridiculous to me that so much money would be spent before actually repairing an issue. The service advisor then stated again he could do nothing about it and it would have to be paid. Again, an additional repair fee that I the owner of the vehicle, did not authorize, but the department went ahead anyways. I then called back and spoke the the service manager where I stated once again my displeasure on how this was handled. After listening to my concern, he stated that he would only charge the initial fee and shop and parts fees which was $284.45. I asked the service manager would the issue be fixed with the payment and he stated yes. I believed, the dealership in good faith, would repair the button issue. When he went to pick the vehicle up, it was still not repaired as I thought it would be, a button cover plate on the right side was missing, and the dealership never checked and noticed that the backup camera had a recall on his year and model which I learned about after the fact. Regardless, it is a disheartening concern that unclear communication and salesmanship is how the dealership runs its business. There will be other negative reviews through online and social media outlets in order to give others the “heads up” on what to expect. He is a student at UF and word does spread fast among young adults. Thank you

I left a google review with more details. Short version: Jerry the Service Manager cussed me out on two separate occasions one in person at the service dept on July 17 2026 and another over an employees phone on August 17th 2026, because supposedly "my husband cussed him and a secretary out" on thise two different days. We tried to set up a time to return their loaner as it was 400 miles from 4000 miles and per usual wr didnt get a call back until I got called off an employees cellphone and cussed out by the manager on the 17th while he informed me they would not be finishing the diagnostic on a problem they had made worse over the 8 weeks they had our Durango. I chose this dealership bc it was closer to my job, and I had previously worked with a few of the employees elsewhere. Jerry included. In 8 weeks they could not diagnose my vehicle, did not replace my.fob or even update me about the fob replacement, and didnt even inquire about an upcoming oil change, nor did they even complete that when I requested it on August 14th 2026. Instead Helena gave my husband and I contradicting replies resulting in my husband and I being confused as to what was tested, or replaced. Jerry and Helena and the rest of the management involved in this nightmare can rest assured I will not be bringing my vehicle back.
